Work is Kicking Off

This week, we had a very busy couple of days at Malco Landscape. Luckily, last week we were able to complete the entire tree installation project at Traditions of America in Mechanicsburg. Monday, we spent most of our day preparing for winter storm Stella. Our employees started working in the early morning hours on Tuesday to try and stay ahead of the storm. We are currently contracted to do snow removal on several commercial properties such as Starbucks, Chipotle, and Michaels. Including salting these areas, it took us about two days to remove all the snow after we received almost 20 inches! Most of our employees worked 24 hours in a day and a half. Looking forward, we now have to wait for some of the snow to melt before we can get back to working everyday. We recently were awarded a project for the Carlisle Borough, consisting of more than 3,000 trees to be installed. Of these trees, we will be planting bare root maples, and a variety of pine trees. We are hoping to begin this project by the middle of April.
